Athlete Guide

Start / Finish:

Start and finish line is located on Front St. at the corner of 6th Ave north of McEuen Park (420 E Front Ave, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814)

Packet Pickup:

Packet pick-up will be located in McEuen Park (420 E Front Ave) from 3:00PM - 7:00PM on Friday, Sep 16.  There will be a limited packet pick-up available on race morning between 5:30AM - 6:30AM in McEuen Park (this is primarily available for those individuals with last minute travel changes).

Start Times / Schedule:

  • Gran, Medio, Piccolo, and Family riders: 7:30am
  • Centro boat boarding: 8:00am
  • Centro riders start: 10:30am
  • First Piccolo boat departs Harrison: 11:00AM
  • Piccolo rider cutoff to make the boat in Harrison: 11:30AM  
    • Please note: Piccolo riders must maintain 10mph avg to meet the 11:30am cutoff or they will be on their own.
  • Last Piccolo boat departs Harrison: 11:45AM
  • Race Finished: 6PM

**Times and schedule are subject to change as we monitor the ongoing changes of COVID-19. We will follow any guidelines and regulations provided by the local government.

Bib Numbers & Timing:

You will be given a seat post sticker with your bib number and timing chip attached. It must be affixed to the seat post as indicated below for accurate timing. If you do not attach your timing chip properly to your bike, you will not get a time.

Riders will also be given a bib. This must be worn on the rider and be visible at all times. There will be tear tags on the bottom to use for course food trucks in Harrison and finisher food. Gran and Medio riders will be given two course food truck tickets, and Centro and Piccolo riders will be given 1 course food truck ticket. Please do not lose these as this is your only way to access the food trucks.


Gear Bags, Special Needs Bags & Bike Check:

There will be gear check and special needs bag check available for Gran, Medio, Centro and Piccolo riders before the race. In an effort to reduce waste, please bring your own plastic bag or reusable grocery bag for gear check items. Be sure to mark your bag or the provided tyvek bag tag with your race number in permanent marker. Bike check will be available after the race for the enjoyment of post race festivities. There will be volunteers watching the bikes and you must have your race number to get in and out of the corral.

  • Gear check will available in McEuen Park in the athlete village from 5:30am - 7:00am.  Gear check is for any items you wish to check at McEuen park and not get back until the race (change of dry clothes, etc.)
  • Special Needs bag check will be from 5:30am-7:00am race morning at the corner of Front St. and 4th ave near the race start. The special needs bag truck will be leaving promptly at 7:15am. If your bag is late, it will not get on the truck.  The special needs bags will all be delivered to the Harrison Food stop.
  • Leftover special needs bags from the course will be ready for pick up from 4:30pm-6pm at McEuen Park. Any bags not picked up before 6pm will be thrown away.
  • Bike Corral will close at 6pm. Please pick-up your bike before 6pm.

Parking:

Parking will be available at the Coeur d’Alene Resort parking garage and McEuen Park for a fee. Free parking is available downtown and on residential streets near the start / finish.


Virtual Riders:

Virtual riders will be able to complete their ride from 9/16-9/18 and submit their results online. Riders can pick up their packets at packet pickup or will be shipped following the live race.

After Party

We are excited to be partnering with Oktoberfest for out 2022 race! Riders can purchase discounted tickets during registration or purchase tickets at the event. For more information about Oktoberfest including offerings and time tables, be sure to check out Downtown CDA's website

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

At this time there are no requirements for face masks, vaccination, or covid testing for this event. We will follow current local, state, and CDC guidance at the time of the event.
